    Gadwal: A new talent has emerged from the Sagara community in Gadwal district. Uppari Rajasekhar Sagara, the son of Uppari Pedda Rangaswamy Sagara from Bingidoddi village, has been selected to represent Osmania University in the All India Inter-University Taekwondo Championship. This event will be held at Guru Nanak University in Amritsar, Punjab, from November 6 to 9.

    Rajasekhar will receive guidance and training from two coaches, Navdeep Sagara and Pradeep Sagara, who are also from Aiza. To celebrate his achievement, Uppari Mirapakaya Venkatesh Sagara, the President of the Sagara Association in Gadwal district, along with other senior members, honored Rajasekhar.

    M. Veeresh, another member of the association, expressed his pride in Rajasekhar’s success. He encouraged other young people in the Sagara community to not only focus on academics but also to learn self-defense skills like Karate, Kung Fu, and Taekwondo. Veeresh further motivated them to consider careers in the nation’s defense services such as the Police, Military, Air Force, and Navy, and wished them a bright future in serving the country.
