Hundreds of leaders from the BRS and BJP parties, including sarpanches, ZPTCs, and MPTCs from different areas, went on a journey from Gadwal to the state capital. They were led by ZP Chairperson Sarita Tirupatiah, Bandla Chandra Sekhar Reddy (Bakka Chandranna), and district Congress committee president Patel Prabhakar Reddy.
Sarita Tirupatiah recently joined the Congress party and expressed concerns about the problems faced by BCs in Gadwal district. She mentioned the backwardness BCs experience in social, economic, and political aspects and stated that the Congress party would work towards their welfare and interests.
In Hyderabad, PCC president Revanth Reddy welcomed the new leaders into the party. He reminded them of past Congress leaders who led the party with great leadership and urged them to continue raising the party’s flag high. Revanth Reddy believed that the entry of these leaders would strengthen the party in Gadwal district.
He also promised several welfare schemes if the Congress party came to power in the State. These schemes included a loan waiver of Rs2 lakh for farmers, the provision of LPG cylinders for Rs500 each to households, and many more.
