Hundreds of BRS and BJP leaders, including sarpanches, ZPTCs, and MPTCs from Dharoor, Gattu, Maldakal, and KT Doddi areas, traveled together in a large convoy from Gadwal to the state capital. They were led by ZP Chairperson Sarita Tirupatiah, Bandla Chandra Sekhar Reddy (Bakka Chandranna), and district Congress committee president Patel Prabhakar Reddy.
Sarita Tirupatiah recently joined the Congress party after leaving BRS. She stated that the BCs in Gadwal district were facing numerous problems and were socially, economically, and politically backward. She assured that the Congress party would prioritize their interests and work towards their well-being.
In Hyderabad, PCC president Revanth Reddy warmly welcomed the new leaders into the party. He reminded them of past great leaders such as Boorgula Ramakrishna Rao, PMallikharjun, Samarasimha Reddy, and Jaipal Reddy who had led the Congress party. He expressed confidence that their entry would further strengthen the party in Gadwal district.
Revanth Reddy promised that if the Congress came to power in the State, farmers would receive a loan waiver of Rs2 lakh. He also mentioned that households would be provided LPG cylinders for Rs500 each, and various other welfare schemes would be implemented.
