The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party held protests across the Gadwal constituency, demanding a public apology from Revanth Reddy. The protests were in response to claims that he failed to fulfill promises made to farmers. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao also mentioned that the government could not deliver the promised “Raitu Bharosa” (Farmer’s Assurance) to the farmers.

Following a call from BRS Working President K T Rama Rao, farmers took to the streets in various areas, including Gattu, Maldakal, and K.T. Doddi. Local leaders, such as Basu Hanumanth Naidu, organized these demonstrations. Protesters even attempted to burn effigies of the state government, but the police stepped in to prevent it in several places, causing tensions between the authorities and BRS leaders.
