The state agriculture minister, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, expressed sadness over the death of Gaddar alias Gummadi Vitthal. Gaddar was known for his inspiring songs that touched the hearts of people. Although he is no longer with us, his music will always be remembered. The minister extended his condolences to Gaddar’s family.
TRS leader, Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar, also expressed his grief over Gaddar’s passing. He had a close relationship with Gaddar since 2003 and worked together during the separate Telangana movements since 1995. Bhaskar stated that Gaddar’s death has left a void in the fight for freedom of speech and public rights. He also acknowledged Gaddar’s deep connection to traditions and offered his condolences to the bereaved family.
