    Union Minister and BJP State President G. Kishan Reddy expressed shock over the news of the demise of revolutionary singer Gaddar alias Gummadi Vitthal Rao. He remembered Gaddar’s key role in creating awareness among people through his songs. Kishan Reddy also mentioned how Gaddar’s famous song on the struggle of Telangana had brought new momentum during the separate Telangana movement. Kishan Reddy extended his condolences to Gaddar’s family members and fans.

    Former Governor of Maharashtra, CH Vidyasagar Rao, called Gaddar a tireless warrior who fought for public issues and attracted millions of people with his songs. Despite ideological differences, Gaddar had met many leaders to discuss issues concerning the people. Vidyasagar Rao also extended his deepest condolences to Gaddar’s family members.

    BJP national vice-president DK Aruna paid homage to Gaddar at LB stadium and remembered how he had won the hearts of the masses with his songs. BJP MLA Etala Rajender expressed deep shock over Gaddar’s sudden demise and called it a great loss for Telangana. Rajender also mentioned Gaddar’s significant role in the separate Telangana movement and how his songs will always be remembered by the people. BJP senior leader Chinta Samba Murthy expressed his shock over Gaddar’s demise and acknowledged his impact on public issues and people’s movements.
