Noted revolutionary singer Balladeer Gaddar passed away today. He was undergoing treatment in a hospital before his death.
Gaddar, also known as Gummadi Vittal Rao, was born in 1949. He was an Indian poet, revolutionary balladeer, activist, and former naxalite. He actively participated in the Naxalite movement until 2010 and later joined the movement for Telangana’s statehood.
Gaddar played a significant role in inspiring many young people to join revolutionary movements. Recently, he attended a public meeting in Khammam, where AICC leader Rahul Gandhi was also present.
