Gomasa Srinivas from BJP, former Minister Koppula Eshwar from BRS, and Gaddam Vamsi Krishna from Congress are running for the Peddapalli parliamentary seat. Since seven assembly seats in this constituency belong to Congress, Gaddam Vamsi has a better chance of winning. Ministers Sridhar Babu and Seethakka, along with all the MLAs, recently held a special meeting to strategize for Vamsi Krishna’s victory.

A meeting of key workers of the Peddapalli Parliament Constituency was held in Mancherial shortly after. Many MLAs and Congress candidate Gaddam Vamsi Krishna were present. They expressed their support for Vamsi and agreed to work towards his victory with a majority of one lakh.

Analysts believe that the victory of Vamsi Krishna is almost certain. The Gaddam Venkat Swamy (Kaka) family has been serving the people of Peddapalli Parliament for nearly three decades. Gaddam Venkataswamy, a member of the family, has won as a parliamentary candidate and served as an MP and Union Minister for five consecutive terms.

Vivek, another member of the family, has also dedicated himself to public service. Recognizing the family’s dedication to public service, the Congress party leadership assigned Gaddam Vamsi Krishna as Kaka’s successor and the Peddapalli parliamentary candidate.

Gaddam Vamsi has been involved in many service programs since a young age. Before the formation of Telangana state, the Peddapalli constituency was considered a stronghold for Congress and the Kaka family. However, after the state’s creation, BRS has won the MP seat twice. But analysts believe that Congress is likely to win in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

TRS candidate Koppula Eshwar and BJP candidate Gomasa Srinivas are also competing for the seat. Koppula Eshwar’s experience in the coal belt area and reputation as a labor leader, along with Srinivas’ belief in the BJP wave and Modi’s charisma, are expected to play a significant role in their campaigns.

The Peddapalli parliamentary constituency has a large population associated with Singareni, including 33,000 workers and their families. The candidates are working to gain support from these workers and their families to secure victory in the elections.
