The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and GHMC’s Food Safety officials conducted inspections at various eateries in Hyderabad following complaints of food adulteration and unhygienic practices. Consumers had reported finding stale food and even dead insects in packed food items.

Bilal Ice Cream was operating without a valid license and had fake-brand water bottles on the premises.
