The Food Task Force team from GHMC inspected Halo Cocktail Bar and Kitchen in Jubilee Hills and found food safety violations. They discovered expired food items and seized others without proper labels. Additionally, expired semi-prepared food was discarded, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian items were stored together.

At Uppal’s Swiss Castle Bakery, the team found expired green moong dal and eating soda, which were promptly discarded. Items worth Rs 2.7 lakh were seized for not following labeling regulations. Bottled water with low TDS was also seized during the inspection.

Despite the violations, food handlers at both establishments followed hygiene protocols. The bakery had proper pest control records and water quality monitoring in place. The FSSAI license was correctly displayed at both locations.
