Foxconn Chairman Yang Liu recently met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his official residence to discuss boosting industrial growth in Telangana. The meeting included Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and senior officials. They explored new investment opportunities for Foxconn, particularly in a new development called Fourth City or Future City.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlighted Telangana’s pro-investment policies aimed at attracting international companies. He introduced Fourth City, a futuristic urban development planned near Hyderabad, which aims to meet international standards and become a hub for advanced industries.
Revanth Reddy invited Foxconn to invest in Fourth City, promising full support from the state government to help the company establish its operations. He emphasized that Fourth City is not just another project but a forward-thinking vision that aligns with Foxconn’s goals.
Yang Liu was impressed by Revanth Reddy’s vision and praised his commitment to creating an industrial-friendly environment. He noted that the plans for Fourth City, along with Telangana’s supportive policies, make it an attractive investment destination for Foxconn.
Yang Liu expressed interest in exploring these opportunities further and announced plans to visit Hyderabad soon. Before his visit, a team led by Foxconn’s Campus Operations Chief Kathy Yang and India Country Representative Wei Lee will visit Hyderabad for initial assessments and discussions.
