Fourteen cases of MCC violation booked in Hyderabad

The Rachakonda police have filed 14 cases for violating the Model Code of Conduct during the Lok Sabha elections campaign. Commissioner of Police Tarun Joshi mentioned that they set up eight inter district check posts and have 29 flying squads and 25 static surveillance teams to prevent illegal activities like transporting cash, liquor, drugs, and freebies.

To boost voter confidence and ensure fair voting, 114 flag marches were organized throughout the commissionerate. All polling stations, especially critical ones, have been geo-tagged in the TSCOP application by the IT core team. Additionally, 72 police officers are monitoring the election process.

Overall, efforts are being made to maintain the integrity of the elections and prevent any misconduct.
