A car and a truck crashed in Narsingi, causing four people to die. The accident happened early in the morning near Khanapur crossroads, close to the Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology. The car was carrying twelve people and crashed into the stationary truck. Three of the victims died instantly and one died later. Four others were injured.
Police believe that the car was being driven recklessly and negligently. The driver tried to overtake an RTC bus and then lost control of the car, hitting the truck. Witnesses reported the accident and helped the injured until authorities arrived.
The police charged the driver with negligence causing death and injuries. They seized both the car and the truck involved in the accident. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, and the deceased were sent for autopsy.
