Osmania University’s Human Capital Development Centre (HCDC) started a four-day workshop for PhD scholars on Monday. The event, called the Osmania University Research Skills (OURS) workshop, aims to improve research skills among students.
University officials said the workshop will help PhD scholars develop advanced data analysis skills. These skills are important for both academic and professional success.
During the four-day event, participants will learn about different research techniques. Topics include SPSS software, statistical analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Path Analysis, and reviewing literature.
Prof. C.V. Ranjani, Director of HCDC, spoke about the importance of SPSS. She explained that SPSS is widely used in research, business, healthcare, and social sciences. She also highlighted its role in big data, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
