The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has opened four new counters for the ‘Praja Palana’ program in Shaikpet, Jubilee Hills constituency. This decision was made due to the large number of people visiting the existing centers in Shaikpet. The new counters are located at Colony Park in Surya Nagar Colony, Shaikpet division.

Asif Hussain Sohail, a member of Jubilee Hills Forum, mentioned that around 40 colonies in Shaikpet were facing difficulties in applying for the Praja Palana program. On January 2, a representation was given to Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, District Collector, and GHMC zonal commissioner, requesting counters to be set up in the colony. As a result, the GHMC established four counters, and over 1,500 applications have been received in the last two days.
