A three-day workshop called “Academic Research and Research Support” was organized by Dr B R Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) ProfG Ram Reddy Centre for Research and Development from May 16 to 18. The workshop aimed to help research students and teachers learn more about academic research. Prof. V Venkaiah, the former vice-chancellor of Krishna University, spoke at the valedictory session on Thursday.
Prof. Venkaiah emphasized the importance of constantly studying and examining the latest discoveries from all over the world. He said that researchers need to have sincerity and a desire to explore in order to discover new things that are useful to society. He also suggested that research papers published in international journals have more value than those that are not published.
Prof. E Sudha Rani, director of GRCR&D, presented a report on the workshop. She explained the need for organizing the workshop and how it could be useful for research students and teachers. Many social science teachers guided research students who participated in the workshop along with directors, deans, heads of branches, and other research scholars and students.
