Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has been granted pre-arrest bail until April 4 in three terrorism cases registered against him by the Lahore police. Khan appeared before the Anti-Terrorism Court accompanied by supporters and told the judge he wants to join the investigation in the cases. The Lahore police registered the cases against Khan in connection with clashes between his supporters and police during an operation to arrest him in the Toshakhana gifts case. Khan is facing over 140 cases under terrorism, murder, attempted murder and blasphemy registered against him during the last 11 months by the PMLN-led coalition government. He has urged his supporters to attend a rally tonight at Minar-i-Pakistan, where he will outline his vision of “Haqeeqi Azadi” or real freedom.
