Hyderabad: Former MLC N Ramachander Rao has encouraged people to join the BJP in large numbers and support the party. He emphasized that the BJP has been working hard to fulfill the promises made to the people of Telangana and the entire country.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Ramachander Rao announced that the BJP will be launching a major membership registration drive across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially start this drive in Delhi on September 2 by enrolling himself as a party member.
In Telangana, Union Minister of Coal and Mines and BJP State President Kishan Reddy will kick off the membership registration on September 3. Several prominent individuals from different fields are expected to participate in the event.
Ramachander Rao highlighted that the central government, under Prime Minister Modi, has invested Rs 9.50 lakh crore in the development of Telangana over the last ten years. He pointed out that the people of Telangana have strong trust in the BJP, as evident from the party winning 8 seats in the recent parliamentary elections.
He explained that there are four ways to join the BJP: by giving a missed call to 88 00 00 2024, through the Namo app/website, by scanning a QR code, or by filling out a membership form. Ramachander Rao urged people to support BJP to make it the largest party in Telangana and to join the party for the sake of the country and for Dharma.
He also recalled the achievements of the Narendra Modi government, including resolving long-standing issues like the abrogation of Article 370, the abolition of triple talaq, and the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Under Modi’s leadership, India has become the 5th largest and strongest economic power in the world, progressing in all fields.
The BJP aims to secure over 50 lakh memberships in Telangana. On September 4th and 5th, a membership registration opening ceremony will be held in various districts of the state. Additionally, a zone-wise membership drive will be launched on September 6. The active membership enrollment campaign and registration will take place from October 2 to 25.
Ramachander Rao mentioned that the BJP previously had 11.85 lakh members in Telangana. This time, the party has set a goal of enrolling more than 200 members in each polling booth. He proudly stated that the BJP has broken the Chinese Communist Party’s record by becoming the party with the largest membership in the world, with over 12 crore members.
Finally, Ramachander Rao announced a workshop on the membership registration process, which will be held on Friday in the Nagole suburbs. This workshop will involve all wings of the party and affiliated departments.
