    Former Bhadrachalam MLA and BJP state secretary Kunja Satyavathi (52) passed away on Monday after experiencing severe chest pain. She was rushed to a local private hospital but unfortunately did not survive.

    Satyavathi began her political career in the CPM and later joined the Congress party. She was elected as an MLA in 2009 and 2014. After the death of YSR, she joined the YSRCP but took a break from politics for some time. In the last general elections, she joined the BJP but was defeated by a Congress candidate.

    Union Minister and BJP State president Kishan Reddy expressed his condolences and praised Satyavathi for her efforts in tribal development. Bhadrachalam MLA Podem Veeraiah also paid his respects.

    TPCC president Revanth Reddy, as well as leaders Tummala Nageswara Rao and DK Aruna, also expressed their condolences on the sudden death of Satyavathi.
