Former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently started a bus tour during the parliament elections to support RS Praveen Kumar IPS, the BRS party candidate for Nagar Kurnool. The roadshow began from Vuyyala Vada and ended at Nagar Kurnool Bus Stand with a corner meeting.
During the event, RS Praveen Kumar shared his background of being born and raised in Nagar Kurnool, becoming an IPS officer, and serving for 27 years before resigning to work for the people of Telangana with KCR’s support. He promised to represent the voices of the poor and downtrodden in parliament if elected.
Former CM KCR celebrated the anniversary of TRS party’s formation, highlighting their achievements like gaining statehood for Telangana and establishing medical colleges. He also criticized the Congress government for farmer deaths and praised his own government’s initiatives like Mission Bhageeratha and Raitu Bandhu.
KCR accused the BJP government of announcing many schemes without much benefit and shared an anecdote about Modi suggesting meters for farmers’ motors. He urged voters to support Praveen Kumar, emphasizing his contributions to education through Social Welfare Residential Schools. Other BRS leaders and ministers also attended the event to show their support.
