The Telangana Intermediate Board has installed 8,000 high-resolution cameras at all examination centers to ensure transparency and security during the inter exams.
Telangana Education Commission Chairman Akunuri Murali, along with other commission members, visited the TGBIE headquarters to review the new command control system. This system allows real-time monitoring of examination centers, ensuring a fair and secure exam environment.
During the visit, Board Secretary Krishna Aditya demonstrated how the system works. The control center is connected to over 8,000 cameras installed across colleges in the state. This setup enables officials to monitor exams simultaneously, ensuring that rules are followed and preventing any unfair practices.
While reviewing live footage from a government college in Mulugu district, Akunuri Murali praised TGBIE’s efforts in using modern technology to maintain exam integrity. He appreciated their proactive approach to supervision.
Krishna Aditya emphasized that this initiative reflects TGBIE’s commitment to maintaining high educational standards and fair evaluation processes. He also acknowledged Brihaspathi Technologies, which helped implement the surveillance system. The company had previously contributed to election monitoring as well.
This initiative is a major step in improving exam security and building trust in Telangana’s education system. It could also serve as a model for other education boards across the country.
