Food poisoning cases in Telangana, which have affected schools and hostels, have now reached the State Secretariat. Food Safety Commissioner RV Karnan has launched an investigation into the incident.
On Saturday, officials inspected the kitchen of the agency responsible for providing food to the Secretariat. Special food safety teams examined the raw materials used and checked the overall quality of the food. Concerns have been raised about substandard food being delivered to the offices of Ministers and other key departments, including the Chief Minister’s Office.
The issue came to light after reports of several officials suffering from food poisoning. Upon hearing about the situation, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy issued a strict warning. Following these incidents, food safety officials have conducted detailed inspections to ensure food quality and safety.
