Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar has established a Flood Monitoring Centre at the state Police Headquarters. The centre is keeping a close watch on the areas affected by heavy rainfall. Many places in the state have experienced intense rain over the past 24 hours, leading to flooding in some villages. The police, along with local authorities, are actively involved in rescuing and supporting those affected by the floods.

Anjani Kumar is regularly checking the status of the situation by communicating with district SPs through the monitoring centre.
