The High Court Division Bench in Hyderabad heard 4 PILs and a Writ Petition regarding the Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project. The petitioners want a CBI/SFIO probe, while the State Government is considering a Judicial enquiry. The court adjourned the case to April 8 to get more information.

Dr KA Paul argued for a CBI probe, but the Chief Justice said the State should be heard first. The court also warned against turning the issue into a legal battle. The hearing was postponed for 4 months in March, as the State Government promised action against officials responsible for barrages sinking.
