    The Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB) is conducting a five-day training course from April 3 to April 10 for police officers of different ranks. The course aims to improve investigation skills for NDPS cases through 25 mandatory documents. The training is being held at the Mini Conference Hall & Training Centre in Banjara Hills.

    The Director General of Police, Ravi Gupta, attended the opening session of the course and launched a book on investigation templates and CD file documents related to NDPS Act cases. He also unveiled a poster on “Ganja & Adulterated Toddy.”

    During his speech, the DGP emphasized the importance of addressing drug addiction and substance abuse globally. TSNAB has been taking various measures to combat this issue, including law enforcement, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs. The goal is to reduce drug addiction and substance abuse, minimize negative impacts, and promote overall health and well-being.

    The DGP highlighted the need for flawless investigations to improve the conviction rate in NDPS cases. He mentioned that TSNAB has identified reasons for low conviction rates and released a book to help investigating officers understand the basics of NDPS law. The training course aims to increase awareness and provide skills to officers from various departments.

    Several officers from TSNAB and other police departments attended the opening session of the training course, which will benefit around 2,800 officers and men.
