    The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Hyderabad has suffered setbacks as five corporators from Boduppal Municipal Corporation resigned from the party. The corporators submitted their resignation letters to the party leadership and are set to join Congress.

    Among the corporators who resigned are Singireddy Padmareddy, Kotha Chander Goud, Seesa Ventesh Goud, Bukya Suman, and Lavanya Shekhar Reddy. They were led by former MLA Malipeddi Sudhir Reddy.

    In another blow to BRS, the Deputy Mayor Kurra Sivakumar Goud along with 11 corporators and three co-option members in Peerjadiguda Municipal Corporation of Medchal district have also joined Congress.
