One 19-year-old college student, Gayathri Reddy, voted for proper development in all sectors, especially education. Another first-time voter, Anitha Chowdary, was nervous but interacted with her neighbors to make her choice. Anushka Sarkar, a 21-year-old college student, found the election scenario interesting and voting for the first time was a unique feeling for her.
Political leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urged people, especially first-time voters, to participate in the democratic process.
