In Tata Nagar, a fire broke out at Raghavendra Plastic Waste Scrap Warehouse due to a faulty circuit. Local residents quickly called the police, who then called the fire brigade for help. The firefighters successfully put out the fire and brought the situation under control. However, this incident caused problems for people living in Brindavan Colony, which is only 100 feet away from Tata Nagar, as thick smoke spread to their area.

It has been discovered that many industries in Tata Nagar Colony have been operating against regulations, with some even running illegal warehouses. As a response to these violations, GHMC officials had previously closed down multiple businesses in the area.
