Despite the rain on Sunday morning, the medical and health department staff in Gadwal continued their work. Under the direction of District Medical and Health Officer Dr. Siddappa, they conducted fever surveys across different wards, villages, and towns in the district.
A dedicated team, which included supervisors, ANMs, and ASHA workers, visited these areas to check for cases of fever. They didn’t just stop at checking for fevers; the team also gave residents important advice on how to stay healthy.
The health workers emphasized the need to maintain both personal and environmental hygiene. They advised people to always boil water before drinking it and to eat food while it’s still warm. The team also told residents to immediately report any cases of fever to the health staff.
The health staff assured the public that they are always ready to provide help and support. Medical officers, health supervisors, and ASHA workers from different villages are actively participating in this daily fever monitoring program.
