Two people were killed in a tragic accident at the Outer Ring Road Himayat Sagar junction in Hyderabad. The victims, Teja and Manish, were hit by a water tanker driven by Prashanth while they were standing on the road near the police academy after parking their car roadside.
The incident also resulted in damage to two cars. The Rajendranagar police responded to the scene, moving the bodies for postmortem examination and taking the driver, who was reportedly intoxicated, into custody.
The police have registered a case against the driver for further investigation.
