BRS leaders in Hyderabad are asking the government to give farmers a bonus of Rs 500 per quintal when they sell their crops. They believe farmers are not getting the support they need from the government.

At a press conference held at Telangana Bhavan, BRS MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, along with other party leaders, expressed their concerns. They said farmers are selling their crops for Rs 1,500 per quintal but are not receiving the bonus they deserve. Only a small amount of crops are being bought at procurement centers, and the prices offered are below the minimum support price.

Despite bringing up the issue with the Chief Minister, farmers have only received an extra Rs 30. The BRS leaders feel that the government is not doing enough to help farmers and that brokers are taking advantage of the situation.
