A big bullock cart rally was held on Saturday in Maddigatla village in Mahbubnagar district to celebrate Farmers’ Day. The rally went from Maddigatla Gram Panchyat to Maddigatla Rythu Vedica cluster. The celebration was part of the 10-year anniversary of Telangana’s formation. Bhootpur MPP Kadire Shekhar Reddy was the chief guest and spoke at the event. He said that over the past 10 years, every section of society has benefited in one way or another, especially the agriculture, irrigation, and farming sectors. He also praised Telangana for supporting farmers by giving them input capital every season and buying their agricultural produce at minimum support price.
Local leaders from Maddigatla, Kotta Molgera, and surrounding areas participated in large numbers. Women, children, and youth from different villages watched the bullock cart rally and later joined the celebrations.
