Congress MLC Jeevan Reddy stated that the State government will only provide the Rythu Bharosa scheme to farmers who actually farm the land. He criticized the previous government for misusing the Rythu Bandhu scheme by giving money to non-agricultural lands like real estate ventures and commercial properties.

During a press conference, Jeevan Reddy emphasized that the Congress government in Telangana is committed to using public funds wisely and avoiding the mistakes of the past. He assured that only farmers actively cultivating their land will receive financial support from the government.

By implementing this policy, the State aims to ensure that the Rythu Bharosa scheme benefits those who truly need it and are engaged in agricultural activities. This measure is intended to prevent misuse of public funds and promote sustainable farming practices in Telangana.
