    Key Concerns Raised by Protesters

The villagers have outlined several critical issues with the proposed ethanol plant.

    Environmental Pollution:
The protesters fear that the plant will cause severe pollution, particularly harming a nearby river that serves as their primary source of irrigation and drinking water. Without access to clean water, the livelihoods of farmers and other residents will be severely affected.

    Impact on Agriculture:
Pollution from the ethanol plant is expected to disrupt irrigation, leading to crop failures and long-term damage to agriculture in the area. This would directly impact the region’s economy and food security.

    Health Risks:
The factory’s hazardous waste and pollution could pose serious health risks to the villagers. The protesters emphasized that they would not allow private companies to prioritize profit at the expense of public health and safety.
