The TSRTC has made an important decision regarding the increase in traffic in city buses caused by the Mahalakshmi scheme. The issuance of Family-24 and T-6 tickets, which are currently being issued, will be stopped starting from tomorrow (January 1). This decision was announced by MD VC Sajjanar on a platform known as X.
To issue these tickets, passengers are required to show their identity cards to the conductor, who then enters their age on the ticket. However, this process is causing delays due to the current congestion in buses, resulting in longer travel times for passengers.
As a result, passengers are facing inconvenience, and in light of this, it has been decided to withdraw the Family-24 and T-6 tickets.
