The leaders convened during a round table conference organized under the banner of Dharmik Jan Morcha (Telangana). The event, themed “Role of Religious Leaders in Curbing the Menace of Narcotics,” saw representatives from different religions discussing ways to raise awareness within their communities and take collective action against the issue.

Expressing deep concern over the rising number of young people falling victim to drug addiction, the leaders called on parents to play an active role in shaping their children’s moral and ethical values. They stressed the importance of instilling strong principles in children from an early age to help them resist harmful influences.

They collectively emphasized that the human body is a divine gift and cautioned that harming it through drug use is unacceptable in the eyes of God.

This united effort by religious leaders highlights the importance of community-driven initiatives in tackling societal challenges such as drug abuse.
