    An expert committee from New Delhi visited Osmania University on Tuesday to review the progress of the DBT-Builder (Level-III) project.

    During the review meeting, university officials presented a detailed report on the project’s current status. The committee then conducted an on-site evaluation to check the infrastructure development in line with the approved budget.

    The expert team inspected various university facilities, including the Centre for Research and Development (CFRD), where they assessed the CD Spectrometer. They also visited the Centre for Plant and Molecular Biology to evaluate the Glass House.

    Additionally, the committee examined the Department of Genetics to review the Genomics Lab, Digital PCR, Ultracentrifuge, Plant Tissue Culture Lab, Cell Culture Lab, and Animal House Facilities.

    A senior Osmania University official stated that the visit was an important step in ensuring the project’s success. It also aims to enhance the university’s research capabilities in biotechnology and life sciences.
