The BC leaders of Congress party from Mahbubnagar district recently visited TPCC president Revanth Reddy at his house in Hyderabad. They wanted to discuss the issue of the Mahabubnagar Assembly ticket being given only to BC leaders. The BC leaders pointed out that BCs make up 60% of the district’s population, so it would be fair to have a BC leader represent them. The TPCC president promised to make every effort to ensure that only a BC leader from the region is given the ticket.
In addition to the BC leaders, other Congress leaders also met with Revanth Reddy. This included TPCC state minority cell secretary Fahim, minority Assembly president Fahim, and minority district president Fayaz. The meeting also included Congress leaders like INTUC district president Ramulu Yadav and others.
