Former Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao denied any involvement in land allegations and stated that he had no connection with Sharan Chaudhary, whom he claimed to not know at all. Dayakar Rao clarified his position during a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, mentioning that he had learned about the allegations through the media. He emphasized that Sharan Chaudhary was previously associated with the BJP but was expelled due to his alleged involvement in land grabbing activities.
According to Dayakar Rao, Sharan Chaudhary is involved in real estate business and has reportedly deceived several individuals, including NRIs, by falsely claiming to possess 120 acres of land with fabricated documents. One NRI named Vijay allegedly lost Rs 5 crore to Sharan Chaudhary, who later filed a police complaint when Vijay demanded his money back. Dayakar Rao highlighted that there have been multiple cases against Sharan Chaudhary for using forged documents, submitting fake petitions, creating false letters, and providing bogus bank guarantees. Additionally, Sharan Chaudhary’s wife’s passport was cancelled, and he has faced legal issues in various police stations.
Dayakar Rao urged the media not to support Sharan Chaudhary and stated his own track record in politics, emphasizing that he has never been involved in land disputes. He shared instances of facing challenges during different government regimes but maintained his stance of seeking justice for people without engaging in unjust practices. Dayakar Rao recounted his experiences during past agitations and reiterated his commitment to serving the public without causing harm to anyone.
