Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao has urged people to compare the development of rural areas before and after the formation of Telangana. He pointed out that all the Thandas (rural settlements) have now become independent gram panchayats. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has not only provided political empowerment but also increased the tribal quota in education and employment from 6% to 10%. The KCR Government has ensured a supply of drinking water to all Thandas, eliminating the need for long walks to fetch water. Rural areas now have the same level of development and facilities as urban areas.
Errabelli warned that if people vote for the Congress, the development of the state will be jeopardized. He criticized the Congress for claiming that three-hour power supply per day is sufficient for agriculture, emphasizing that farmers must consider whether they prefer a three-hour or 24-hour power supply. He also called on the Congress to fulfill its election promises in the states where they are in power. Errabelli described opposition leaders as mere tourists who disappear after elections.
