MGBS Metro Station commuters in Hyderabad are facing difficulties due to a blocked entrance. Many passengers have raised concerns and urged authorities to reopen the entrance for easier access.
Commuters have pointed out that the lack of proper entry to the station is causing hardship. Additionally, parking, which was once free, is now being charged. Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), in partnership with a private company, Parkmate Smart Parking Solution, started charging for parking six months ago.
To make matters worse, the private company has recently blocked the metro entrance, creating severe inconvenience for passengers. This has especially affected senior citizens, people with disabilities, and others who need easy access to the metro station.
Social activist and daily commuter Galibe Vishal expressed frustration, stating that paid parking has worsened the situation. He emphasized that blocking the entrance goes against the goal of a smooth and accessible metro system.
Commuters have repeatedly complained to TSRTC and Hyderabad Metro officials, but no action has been taken. Another commuter mentioned that restoring proper entry and exit at MGBS Metro Station is necessary for public convenience. They urged authorities to prioritize accessibility for all passengers.
