On Sunday, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao visited the paddy procurement centre at NanchariMadur under Thorrurmandal in Palakurthi Constituency. He spoke to the farmers and took note of the issues they were facing. He assured the farmers that the government would purchase all of the paddy produced in the state and directed officials to help farmers during the procurement process.
The minister also mentioned that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao cares about farmers and had announced compensation of Rs 10,000 per acre for those who lost crops due to recent rains and hailstorms. He praised the KCR Government for providing such good governance and added that they were also purchasing maize in addition to paddy.
