Security Tightened for TSPSC Group-2 Exams in Gadwal
The Jogulamba Gadwal District Superintendent of Police (SP), Mr. T. Srinivas Rao, IPS, has announced extensive security measures for the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group-2 examinations. The exams are scheduled to take place on December 15 (Sunday) and December 16 (Monday).
A total of 8722 candidates will appear for the exams across 25 centers—22 in Gadwal and 3 at Erravalli Crossroads. To ensure smooth conduct, approximately 150 police personnel, including officers and staff, will be deployed. Section 144 (BNSS 163) will be enforced around the exam centers to maintain law and order.

Guidelines for Candidates and Public
The SP has issued strict guidelines for candidates and the public to ensure a fair and disruption-free examination process:
1. Follow Instructions: Candidates must adhere to the rules mentioned on their hall tickets. Police personnel will be stationed outside the centers to maintain discipline.
2. Timely Arrival: Candidates are advised to arrive at the centers well in advance. Only individuals with valid ID cards will be allowed inside.
3. No Gatherings: Section 144 prohibits public gatherings near the centers to avoid disturbances.
4. Xerox Centers Closed: All photocopy centers within a 500-meter radius of the exam venues will remain shut during the exam period.
5. Electronic Gadgets Banned: Items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the centers. Candidates should plan accordingly.

Security and Screening Measures
To ensure foolproof arrangements, five designated routes have been set up for managing candidate movements. Each route will be supervised by a Circle Inspector (CI), supported by Sub-Inspectors (SI) for regular patrolling. Advanced screening tools like Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMD) and Hand-Held Metal Detectors (HHMD) will be used at all exam centers. Female candidates will be frisked by women personnel.
Special security arrangements have also been made for the safe transportation of question papers and answer sheets. The SP assured that any untoward incidents would be promptly addressed.

Traffic and Emergency Measures
To avoid traffic disruptions in Gadwal town, special traffic police arrangements have been made. Candidates can contact the police through Dial-100 in case of emergencies.
The District SP emphasized that all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure the exams are conducted in a secure, safe, and orderly manner.
