Hyderabad: State Principal Secretary for Energy, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, has instructed officials from TRANSCO and DISCOMs to ensure a steady and reliable power supply across the state. He emphasized the need to maintain quality electricity services for all consumers.

During a review meeting on Wednesday, Sultania assessed the current power supply situation and urged officials to focus on providing uninterrupted electricity. He also stressed the importance of speeding up repair works and completing ongoing projects to avoid disruptions. Officials were directed to prepare for the increased power demand during the upcoming rabi season and summer months.

The Principal Secretary evaluated the existing transmission network, which includes 400 KV, 220 KV, and 132 KV systems. He instructed the transmission director and field engineers to accelerate work on extra high voltage substations and associated line projects. The goal is to complete these critical projects before summer begins to ensure the network can handle increased loads.
