Two Ministers from the Telugu States engaged in a war of words over comments made by Andhra Pradesh Minister Botsa Satyanarayana about the education system in Telangana. Satyanarayana belittled the system while releasing IIIT entrance test results. Telangana Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud responded critically to Satyanarayana’s remarks.

Goud alleged that Satyanarayana is indulging in such talk because he had passed exams by copying. He also mentioned that Andhra students want to study in Telangana and have been filing court cases. Goud questioned the Andhra leaders’ negativity towards Telangana and highlighted that there have been no scandals like Volkswagen in Telangana. He even suggested that Satyanarayana’s children might have studied in Telangana.

Goud emphasized that any insulting talk against Telangana will not be tolerated and mentioned that the State government arrested the culprits in the TSPSC paper leak case. He advised Satyanarayana to focus on development in his own State, noting that the BRS will be looking to expand in Andhra Pradesh.
