These areas include developing teachers’ skills, recognizing the role of education in empowering people, and promoting green and digital transitions. Pradhan shared these outcomes after a meeting of G20 Education Ministers in Pune. The G20 nations believe that education is not just about academic learning, but also about developing life skills and vocational skills to prepare learners for the future. They also agreed on the importance of teachers in promoting education.

Ministers in the G20 grouping formally accepted the outcome documents at the meeting, which concluded several months of discussions within the education working group track. These documents will serve as a roadmap for the international community to ensure inclusive and high-quality education for all learners. The G20 Education Working Group focused on finding solutions to address global challenges during its meetings in Chennai, Amritsar, Bhubaneshwar, and Pune. They emphasized four priority areas: ensuring foundational literacy and numeracy, making tech-enabled learning more inclusive, promoting lifelong learning, and fostering innovation through collaboration and partnerships.
