    The Education Minister, Sabitha Indra Reddy, handed out Bathukamma sarees in Kaukuntla village, which is in the Chevella constituency of Rangareddy district. Along with the sarees, sports kits were also given to the participants. The program was organized by Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah.

    The Minister shared information about Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s vision, stating that one crore two lakh sarees will be distributed throughout the state. The cost of this initiative is Rs 354 crore, showing the government’s commitment to women’s welfare and empowerment.

    Additionally, 25 thousand sports kits will be distributed across the state to promote sports and physical activity among young people.
