BRS MLC K Kavitha will remain in jail for another month as her judicial custody has been extended until July 3 by the Rouse Avenue Court in Hyderabad. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a charge sheet stating that a liquor scam worth Rs 1,100 crore took place, with Rs 292.8 crore going to the South Group. This included Rs 100 crore given as ‘kickbacks’ to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the Goa elections in 2022.

Kavitha was presented before the court by the ED, and her judicial custody was extended.
