Hyderabad: The State Election Commission will conduct a special campaign on November 9 and 10 as part of the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of the Electoral Roll for 2025.
This campaign is aimed at helping the public verify and update their voter information. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be available at polling stations to assist voters with Form-8 applications for any necessary changes. People can submit claims and objections until November 28. Applications for inclusion, correction, or objection can be submitted both online (through https://voters.eci.gov.in/ or the Voter Helpline App) and offline by visiting BLOs or other designated officials.
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C Sudharshan Reddy held a meeting with political party representatives to discuss the SSR of the Electoral Roll for 2025. He informed them that the integrated Draft Electoral Roll, which was published on October 29, is open for corrections until November 28.
The CEO also highlighted efforts to enroll marginalized groups, including third-gender individuals, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). Additionally, he mentioned that a fresh preparation of electoral rolls is underway for specific Graduate and Teacher constituencies. Updates on the number of forms received, processed, and pending as of November 5, 2024, were also shared with the political parties.
