The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that temperatures in Hyderabad will increase in mid-February, signaling the early arrival of summer. Dr. A. Shravani from IMD-Hyderabad expects temperatures to rise over the next five days before returning to normal. However, temperatures will continue to increase after mid-February.
Recently, Chandanagar experienced its highest maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius, which is unusual for this time of year. Ameerpet also saw a significant rise in daytime temperatures, reaching 34.7 degrees Celsius. These high temperatures indicate a transition from winter to warmer conditions.
Over the next five days, the IMD-Hyderabad forecasts that daytime temperatures will continue to rise, with an average maximum temperature of 31-32 degrees Celsius. Despite the increasing warmth during the day, nights will remain comfortable in Hyderabad.
On Wednesday, Rajendranagar recorded a minimum temperature of 12.9 degrees Celsius, while Malkajgiri was slightly higher at 13.1 degrees Celsius. The city is expected to have minimum temperatures around 17 degrees Celsius in the next three days, along with the pleasant daytime temperatures. The IMD-Hyderabad also predicts the formation of haze in the early morning hours.
